The Lavender Harvest

I'm just a little bit behind it has been 2 months since the lavender harvest, feeling naughty it has taken me so long to post about it here in the blog. The lavender harvest was the most fantastic day! We had loads of lovely people come out and help, only a few casualties with men cutting themselves. Here are a few photos...

the next day young Tycho went with Ben and Rebecca to distill the flowers 

he got to jump on the flowers  

here they are all ready to go make some oil

and an hour later around 2L of pure essential oil arrived
